Hilary A. Soderland was awarded the Gates Cambridge Trust Scholarship for her MPhil and PhD in the Department of Archaeology, University of Cambridge. She is currently undertaking her Juris Doctorate at Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California-Berkeley. She has been an instructor and researcher in archaeology and a museum professional.
